- Brittany first manages Kurt's campaign for school president, telling him he's different like a "unicorn." But after he objects to her over-the-top campaign and she receives some advice from Santana, Brittany herself decides to run, also. What a race!
- Tryouts for the school play, West Side Story, are help. And even though Blaine volunteers to not go for the lead, directors Artie, Beiste and Emma ask him to because they don't think Kurt is manly enough. Kurt overhears this.
- Shelby returns because Sugar's dad gives the school a huge check in order to start another choir that included his child. She bonds with Rachel during a duet and also with Puck, who wants to be in his daughter's life.
- Quinn is more resistant, but eventually gives in and goes back to her regular look. But then she tells Puck why - she wants full custody of her child.
