G-Girl, Season 3 - Episode 12: The Debarted

Dan tells Vanessa he loves her, a revelation to which she pays zero attention.

Eric is trying to take down Jenny by one-upping her latest move, and making her look like an evil queen for rubbing her new purse in the girls' faces.

But this backfires when J buys the new ‘it’ bag for all her minions, one-upping her step-bro’s attempts at a major de-throning by fashion humiliation.

But by the end of the show we learn Jenny’s money is coming from an old illicit contact - she's helping Damien deal drugs! This cannot bode well.

Blair and Lily both try to convince Chuck to go visit his dad’s grave on the anniversary of his father’s death, but Chuck buries himself in real estate.

Moreover, he gets haunted by weird visits from Bart. His deceased dad tells him he’s weak, soft and cannot be a different person at work and home.

Bart basically wants Chuck to dump Blair and to boot the homeless from a shelter Chuck wants to turn into posh condos on the Lower East Side.

But a major crisis knocks Chuck to his senses.

He comes to terms with his dad’s passing, with the help of Blair, as Serena's accident brings him to the hospital (more on that shortly). He finally grieves and realizes his troubles stem from the day his dad died.

Chuck finally decides to go to his dad’s grave for the first time since his death. Roses in hand, he pulls up - a woman says “Charles” and races off leaving her yellow roses, an engraved necklace and a perplexed Chuck behind in the fog.

Could Chuck’s mom be alive?

As for Serena, Tripp is all about making their love work at the beginning of the episode, until he changes gears when he gets a call from a powerful congressman and turns to Maureen for help. Yes, Maureen.

He doesn't want to throw it all away anymore, career-wise. Tripp takes Serena to a love-nest on Long Island, but lies to go meet Maureen.

This leaves her alone to call and whine to Nate.

Maureen then comes to meet Serena and suggests Tripp stay married, sleep with Serena and head to Washington as planned. Everyone wins.

Serena figures out what scum Tripp is and makes him drive her home. Tripp swerves to avoid some wolves and crashes into a guard rail. Then he moves Serena to the driver's seat (she's unconscious) and takes off.

Nate had already been heading out to see Serena, when he drives up to the crash scene and speaking to Serena, who is in and out of consciousness, he realizes what his cousin has done.

When he runs into a lurking Tripp at the hospital he punches him in the face. Tripp threatens Nate that he will deny everything and his grandfather is on board if Serena and he say he was at all involved.

It looks as if Serena’s fine, Tripp’s moving on, and Nate is going to be with her. At the very least, he's in her hospital room as she recovers.

Maureen, despite blackmailing Serena with the father-letter, decides to hand the goods over to Rufus and paints Lily as a cheater. This throws R into the arms of the co-op board president, who Lily asked him to meet with earlier.
